The Survey Worx team are proud to have worked on dozens of tunnels throughout New Zealand over the past 25 years. Our experienced tunnelling surveyors are sought after and very well known in the industry. Our specialised team are practiced in a variety of tunnel boring machine (TBM) guidance programs and gyroscopic instruments. We use Gyros to strengthen absolute position and increase accuracy along alignment of the tunnel.
Using a mixture of laser scanning and conventional survey methods, our surveyors successfully assist the build of shafts and portals, from excavation, through shotcrete and final lining.
A robust control network is the essential foundation to any tunnelling project. Or surveyors can traverse daily assist guidance system when required. Our experienced management team also consult to ensure the tunnel follows the design position.
